Will English Football Fans Ever Behave In European Cities?

When it comes down to it, English soccer fans have been much better behaved during the last decade then they have probably ever been throughout history. Of course, old stereotypes take a while to die out, which is why English soccer fans are typically looked at among the worst in the world. With that said, while they might be loud and somewhat arrogant (show me sports fans who aren’t), when it comes to the violence that everyone likes to point to in soccer, the English soccer fan has not been as “guilty” as many think that they are.Is this new to you? When was the last true “soccer riot” you’ve heard of that have included English soccer fans? While you used to read about it each and every Monday morning in papers around the world, the good ‘ol English soccer riot has actually become a thing of the past, at least for the most part. And while they still like to chant, show up in big numbers and be somewhat annoying, you aren’t seeing as many fights as you used to. Heck, you could argue that Spain and Italy have fans that are much more likely to riot than the fans in England are, which is saying a lot.
